About

Hey, great to have you here! Thanks for dropping by, here’s a little bit about me. My name is Valentin Mazhar, but most people call me Val.

I build and share practical tools, scripts, and my lessons learned to help organizations govern and scale the Power Platform. Most of what I publish on PowerTricks.io comes directly from real enterprise experience.

My goal is to help organizations unlock the full value of the Power Platform through effective governance, enabling innovation at scale while minimizing risk and ensuring long-term sustainability.

My Journey

I discovered the Power Platform in 2019 while working as IT Manager at Bel UK, London. As a team of one, I wanted to multiply my impact, and low-code made it possible.

In 2020, I joined Zurich Insurance to build its Power Platform Center of Enablement, leading the creation of its governance strategy and automation foundations. What began as a small internal initiative became a global framework used by thousands of makers globally across the business.

Our work was featured by Microsoft in a Customer Success Story (updated July 2024), highlighting Zurich’s governance journey and the Power Platform’s role in enterprise transformation.

Today, I work independently as an Power Platform Architect and Governance Expert, helping enterprises unlock the full potential of low-code and generative AI, securely and at scale.
